The inaugural event of RATNABIR PROGATI FARMER PRODUCER COMPANY LTD. (FPC) was held in Dhubri District.

On the date of September 29, 2023, under the jurisdiction of Dhubri district, the first phase of agricultural development in the Agomoni block, with a focus on the comprehensive development of farmers and specific crops like rice and maize, was inaugurated by the Sushila Foundation for Agricultural and Rural Development (a nationally recognized non-governmental organization) in collaboration with economic support from NERAMAC. This initiative has led to the formation of the “Ratnabir Progati Farmer Producer Company”. The office of this company, known as “Ratnabir Progati Farmer Producer Company,” was formally inaugurated today in a grand ceremony. The distinguished guests present at this auspicious event included Mr. Bimal Ojha (Managing Director, NIPCO), Mr. Ashwini Ray (Former MLA, Golakganj Constituency), Mr. Umesh Deka (District Agriculture Officer, Dhubri), Mr. Nirmal Chandra Ghosh (Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer, Dhubri) and Mr. Dibya Jyoti Ray (District Coordinator, SFARD), along with the management team of Ratnavir Pragati Farmer Producer Company. The event celebrated the commendable work of Sushila Foundation and expressed hopes for a significant positive transformation in the farming community through the efforts of this FPC and SFARD.
